Speaking of Vintage Guitars...
In 1978, I was fortunate to be one of the first vintage guitar dealers to have a booth at the nation's first guitar show, The Texas Guitar Show, held in the basement of a Dallas hotel.
Since that time, the show has grown to multiple locations spread across the United States. The weekend of October 21 & 22nd, is the next Arlington Guitar Show. Arlington is a suburb located between Dallas, TX and Ft. Worth, and conveniently located adjacent to DFW Airport.
Vintage guitar dealers, guitar collectors, professional musicians, and national personalities will be present. My wife and I will also be there to host our KINGTUT Guitars booth, located this year near the Gibson mobile trailer exhibit. Look for the large KINGTUT banner displayed over our booth.
The guitar show is quite large, so plan to spend the afternoon browsing the many wonderful vintage guitars on display under one roof. The Texas show is a show to remember!

A NIGHT AT THE LYRIC! The Harrison-Based Kingtut Blues Band performed at the Lyric Theatre last Saturday night before a packed house. The event was promoted by Ken Bailey and Joe Golden of the Ozark Arts Council. It was a fun time for all who attended. Kudos to staff and other performers who are doing their part to promote the arts in the ozarks and local talent. |
